A Complete Program

coastalnavigation.com addresses two challenges: The first is to present coastal navigation as the straight-forward and logical subject that it is. The second is to ensure topics are given thorough coverage without the complication of more advanced concepts of piloting and navigation.

This approach has been classroom-tested by over a thousand students and is now available in a comprehensive e-learning package. You can work through the course at your own pace, and access the material anytime and anywhere you have an Internet connection.

Easy-to-Follow Lessons

Topics are organized into 25 short lessons. Each are illustrated with descriptive color diagrams and photographs. Step-by-Step pages provide easy-to-follow plotting instructions. Test Yourself exercises allow you to check your progress. Plot It! exercises and a practice cruise give you hands-on experience to build speed, accuracy and confidence in plotting.

Multimedia

In addition to many diagrams and photographs, the course also contains a series of videos accessible on YouTube.
